Ben Langham has ten years' experience in lift and escalator maintenance at London Underground since completing the Metronet Rail engineering graduate scheme. Much of his work has involved the use of condition monitoring techniques and data analytics to improve reliability, availability, safety and whole life costs and he has led a number of initiatives to improve maintenance systems and processes. He is currently working as a Business Improvement Manager, supporting the implementation of Lean tools and methodology across the business for continuous improvement and problem solving.

Ben has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Reading, an MSc in Advanced Engineering Design from Brunel University and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
